TWSBI Vac 700 Fountain Pen

Unique and easy to use, the TWSBI Vac 700 Fountain Pen uses a vacuum filling system to fill the pen's body with your choice of bottled fountain pen ink. With a classy frosted clip, smooth see-through tapered barrel, and TWSBI branded screw cap (which can be posted on to the back of the pen when writing), the Vac 700 is a stylish fountain pen for special use, yet durable enough for regular use. The large stainless steel nib (made by JoWo, a German company) puts down a smooth line when writing and is availble in fine or medium nib sizes when bought on/with the fountain pen (other sizes are available as separate nib units). Packaged in a modern, clear case, TWSBI's Vac 700 also comes with a small wrench, instructions for how to use and disassemble the pen, and a small bottle of silicone grease to keep up the smooth operation of the fountain pen.

How to fill the TWSBI Vac 700 Fountain Pen: While you have the stainless steel nib inserted into your ink bottle (nib pointing down), simply pull up on the end cap to its full extent, then push down on the end cap to create the vacuum that will pull the ink into your fountain pen. You might need to do this pumping action 2 or 3 times to fill it up, but note that even if the entire pen body does not fill to the brim with ink, you will have a large enough amount to last for a long time.

TWSBI Vac 700 Fountain Pen

With over 40 years of experience in plastics and metals manufacturing, TWSBI aims to recapture the romantic flair of past art and literature. Tailoring their product list to their customers around the world, TWSBI manufactures fountain pens, mechanical pencils, ballpoint pens, and fountain pen ink bottles. TWSBI's name stands for the phrase "Hall of Three Cultures" or "San Wen Tong" in Chinese. TWSBI explains that the initials of the phrase "San Wen Tong" were reversed and thus turned into "TWS." Then, they added the last letters "BI," which mean "writing instruments." When the two are combined, you get TWSBI!
