This ink contains natural resins allowing the ink to adhere to the metal nib, yet flow smoothly and consistently. With a rich opacity, J. Herbin's Calligraphy Ink maintains its dense color, never fades, and is available in black or blue ink. Make your lettering stand out with this ink specifically designed for calligraphy.

This ink is NOT for use in fountain pens. Only use it with calligraphy pens with steel nibs, calligraphy brushes, or glass or quill dip pens.

Established in 1670, J. Herbin inks date back to the time of Louis XIV, making it the oldest ink brand in the world. M. Herbin created "The Jewel of Inks" in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700. That tradition survives today in vibrant calligraphy inks by J. Herbin.
