Established in 1670, J. Herbin inks date back to the time of Louis XIV, making it the oldest ink brand in the world. M. Herbin created "The Jewel of Inks" in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700. That tradition survives today in vibrant calligraphy and fountain pen inks by J. Herbin.
