Choose from a range of J. Herbin Sealing Wax colors to match your style (sold separately). The J. Herbin Wax doesn't crack, chip, or break, and is made specifically for use with the Brass Seals.

Just shy of an inch wide (17/18"), these solid brass seals are virtually indestructible and designed to stay sharp through repeated use. For use with the J. Herbin Wax Seal Wood Handle (sold separately).

M. Herbin was a sailor, and from his many journeys to India he brought back to Paris formulas for manufacturing sealing wax. His special lacquer formula improved the quality of the seals in adhesion and neatness, helping him to become famous throughout the kingdom.

J. Herbin's seals are made in two separate parts: a varnished wood handle (see J. Herbin Wax Seal Wood Handle (Item pjh407) sold separately) and a screw-on 17/18" diameter solid brass seal. The seal design is made to stay sharp through repeated use. Handle and seal sold separately.
